The Society has a secretariat, called in Swedish Vänerkansliet. It is housed in the county administration's premises in Mariestad, and is staffed by Sara Peilot and Agneta Christensen, who is happy to answer inquiries about the lake's environment and about the Lake Vänern Society for Water Conservation.
