The County Administrative Board has a staff of 4 to manage the National Park, guide visitors and run naturum. There is a management plan for the National Park which specifies what to do. The County Administrative Board is funded once a year from the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (Naturvårdsverket). The annual budget for this is abut 3.6 million SEK.
